This Terms of Service and Residential Client Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Simply Clean Co. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“Client”) for professional residential cleaning services and related communications, including SMS/text messaging.

By scheduling services, providing a phone number, or otherwise engaging with Simply Clean Co., the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Provided

Simply Clean Co. provides professional residential cleaning services as scheduled and agreed upon with the Client. Services may include, but are not limited to:

Initial deep cleans
Routine maintenance cleans (weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
Move-in / move-out cleans
Custom add-on services as requested

All services are performed according to Simply Clean Co.’s standards and scope of work agreed upon at booking.

2. Scheduling & Cancellations

To ensure reliable and timely service for all clients:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Monday appointments must be canceled by the preceding Friday to avoid charges.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 40% of the scheduled cleaning cost.

3. Entry to Home

The Client agrees to provide access to the home as arranged (key, door code, garage code, or being present).

If entry is not possible upon arrival and we are unable to reach the Client, a lockout fee of 40% of the scheduled cleaning price will apply.

4. Preparing for Your Clean

To ensure the best possible service:

\nTemperature: Thermostat should be set between 68–70°F during service.
\nValuables: Secure items of monetary or sentimental value prior to service.
\nPets: Pets must be safely contained or away from active cleaning areas.
\nTidying: General pickup (toys, laundry, clutter) should be completed before arrival.
\nAdditional Tidying: If pickup or organizing is required beyond what was scheduled, an additional $25–$50 fee may apply depending on the space.
\nCommunication: Please notify us in advance of special requests, add-ons, or priority areas.
\nAccess: Ensure access is available at the scheduled time.

These steps allow our team to clean efficiently and thoroughly.

5. Privacy & Security

Simply Clean Co. values client trust and privacy:

Client information, including keys, access codes, and home details, is kept confidential.
Keys and codes are securely stored and used only for service access.
We do not sell or share client information.

6. Damages & Breakage

Our team treats every home with care. In the rare event of accidental damage:

Issues must be reported within 24 hours of the cleaning.
Simply Clean Co. will respond promptly and address the issue fairly.
We are licensed and insured, and claims will be handled in accordance with our policy.

Clients are responsible for securing or disclosing items of exceptional value or fragility.

7. Media & Marketing (Optional)

Simply Clean Co. may occasionally take before-and-after photos of completed work for marketing purposes.

No personal items or identifying details will ever be shown.
By agreeing to this Agreement, the Client grants permission for these images to be used for marketing, social media, or website purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If the Client is not fully satisfied, Simply Clean Co. must be notified within 24 hours of service.

We will gladly return to address any concerns at no additional charge.

9. Liability

Simply Clean Co. is a licensed and insured cleaning company. We are not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage
Normal wear and tear
Improperly installed, unstable, or fragile fixtures or items

10. Payment & Card on File

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: cash, check, Venmo, or card.
Credit/debit card payments incur a 3% processing fee.
A valid card must be kept on file for all clients.

Cards may be charged only for:

Unpaid invoices after 24 hours
Late cancellations per policy
Outstanding balances not paid through another method

All card information is stored securely.

11. Add-On Services & Extra Charges

Clients must notify Simply Clean Co. prior to service for add-ons. Additional fees may apply for:

Add-on or custom services (quoted in advance)
Heavy buildup, cluttered spaces, or pet messes
Excessive dishes (more than one sink full)

Our team documents these situations and notifies the office for accurate billing.

12. Maintenance Clean Rescheduling

Maintenance routes are carefully planned to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Client-initiated changes to day, time, or frequency may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
Company-initiated changes will not incur a fee.

13. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number, the Client consents to receive SMS/text messages from Simply Clean Co.

Program Description

Messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, service updates, invoices, receipts, promotions, follow-ups, satisfaction surveys, and customer support communications.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on services scheduled and communication needs.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. The Client is responsible for any charges imposed by their wireless provider.

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-opt in.
